You may not be able to command them but you can create a bigger safer space for them to occupy. Also try going to the far side of the Capture Zone when you get in the Trenches, that way you are still on the leading edge and the Allied AI will fill in the CZ behind you as you continue to hold the front. Even un occupied MG-Nests will be used by AI if you place them- may take a bit for them to get there but they will. Sand bags here and there, AI will use them. So your troops may be getting caugh up with that too. And Fridge has a VERY active Vehicle lane the runs along the West side of the mid field. So cover, slow crawling approach, try to make a gap for your AI to slowly move up. It also can have dramatic effects on other maps if left alone and frontline adjacent.īeyond that, and without knowing slightly more details (asked in the open of this post) it usually really is just coming down to a hard fought firefight through the trees. And often on Fridge it can have a surprising effect if not dealt with while trying to take the No Man's Land. Although far enough off sometimes to be forgotten, it can add a little to a big trickle of troops into the front. The reason I bring this up, the Bus, is that often this subtle feature works as an additional AI Flow into battle. If you are really desperate you can hop in the Bus (which IS "broken-down" hence it sitting there) and drive it until the enemy Blow You and the Bus Up which they will eventually do. This can be done with C4 (1) or the SMAW Rocket (if unlocked in the Armory, probably 3-4 needed), and other Rockets can be used but you will need many more and that attracts A LOT of unwanted attention. If you have not found and destroyed this Bus: DESTROY IT to release your Allied Friendly Prisoners. But it may show up either North or South I think on either of the two roads. There is a "Prisoner Bus" that will spawn on either of the Two Roads (running N-S), only one Bus. (I'd advise all other strategies before trying to back-cap alone on Fridge if you are new.) Yet even in Co-op this can also be very tough. Good because IF you can take either of the Fort Bases on the West and East of the Map it can provide a great Vehicle Point, plus it can cut off the enemies main flow. Inch by inch, tree by tree.įridge Vally can be a good place and insanely difficult place to learn how to "Stealth" in RWR. But it's a great spot to learn the prolonged fire-fights of RWR. One of the longer "no man's land" areas and it's all singularly directed between two points. Generally either way is very tough, even in Co-op. OR: have you fought out from one of the Bases and your forces have stalled mid-field between the Trenches? Are you attacking Out of the Middle as a whole, so your forces fighting North and South at the same time?
